About The Position

Novant Health Piedmont Plastic and Oral Surgery is looking for a compassionate, caring Physician Assistant in our Rowan location to provide Inpatient, Outpatient, and Operating Room support for selective medical services under the direction of the practice physician. Our specialists are committed to working with you and the rest of your care team to create a personalized treatment plan that is designed with you in mind. Our expert clinicians provide the latest treatments or management of medical oncology conditions as well as hematologic conditions.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Required.
• Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant program required.
• One to three years of experience as Physician Assistant with current and/or prior surgical experience.
• Current PA license in appropriate state Required.
• NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required.
• ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) Required.
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
• Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with plastic surgery and/or maxillofacial surgery is desired.
