This opportunity entails being responsible for participating in the review, analysis and preparation of survey and right of way engineering documents. Performs drafting and calculations from field data received to support various types of projects.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Nice To Haves

1-2 years related experience
Licensed Surveyor Intern or ability to become licensed within 1st year of employment
Surveyor in Training license, graduate from surveying program

Responsibilities

Assists in various survey tasks and projects such as Right of Way, Design, and Utility mapping and survey.
Reads title work and legal descriptions.
Prepares coordinate geometry batch files.
Drafts and/or maps various land surveying related materials such as route survey plats, parcel plats, and plan sheets using applicable 3D software.
Performs standard calculations to determine various elements received from field survey data.
Processes survey data.
Performs other duties as assigned.
