About The Position
The Roving Paraeducator Substitute position at Sifton Elementary School is a substitute hourly role that transitions to an instructional paraeducator position upon successful completion of a paraeducator assessment within a 90-day probationary period. If the assessment requirement is not met within this timeframe, the position will revert to a regular On-Call Classified Substitute at the standard substitute rate. The role involves assisting in the supervision of student behavior, activities, and safety, working closely with students both individually and in small groups. The position is permanent and classified under Paraeducator Class II with a pay rate of $21.50 during the probationary period.
