About The Position

Gaines Investment Trust is hiring a Roving HVAC Maintenance Technician to support a portfolio of apartment communities in the Irving and North Dallas area. Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong knowledge of general repairs, troubleshooting, and HVAC systems
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and property teams
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Positive attitude and a strong sense of personal accountability
• HVAC certification

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned apartment communities to provide maintenance support as needed
• Complete service requests related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs
• Use Maintenance IQ mobile software to manage and track work orders and tasks
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues with efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with curb appeal, groundskeeping, and pool maintenance when needed
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent needs
• Collaborate with onsite teams to ensure excellent resident service and property upkeep
• May assist with preparing apartments for new residents
