Hourly Rate: $17.13 Per Hour Position Summary: Routers are responsible for the process of collection, transporting, and sorting of donated merchandise in the production department.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
  • 1 -- 3 months of related experience and/or training
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
  • Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and concensus
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of forklift experience highly desired
  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Router.

Responsibilities

  • Provides a smooth flow of goods to the production workstations
  • Reacts with urgency to determine production needs and adapts quickly to changing business conditions
  • Tickets items for sale by attaching price ticket to item
  • Places items on or in appropriate transport container safely and labels correctly
  • Monitors and reports supply needs to supervisor
  • Assists the supervisor with training of employees and clients and performs quality control evaluations
  • Ensures the area stays clean, well-organized and safe
  • Assists the production department
  • Maintains receiving and delivery shipping logs
  • Maintains safety standards as provided by the Production Supervisor
  • Inspect, clean, and repair items to be priced and placed on the sales floor.
  • Unloads sacks, boxes, and miscellaneous donated items from trucks into donation carts and transports them to proper processing workstation or storage areas.
  • Assists with tracking and recording daily production, donor and shipping/receiving records.
