About The Position

At Vestis, we deliver uniforms and workplace supplies that empower people to do good work and good things for others while at work. Our Route Sales Drivers are the face of our business. You will build meaningful relationships with your customers while working a schedule that allows for nights and weekends off with your family. You will be driving a company vehicle, servicing and selling products that range from uniforms, floor mats, towels, linens, restroom supplies, first aid supplies and more on an assigned route. Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and excellent driving record.
  • Excellent customer service with a wide variety of consistent customer contact and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong math and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company vehicle in a designated area to provide products and service to a variety of clients.
  • Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.
  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
  • Loads/unloads product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  • Meet sales goals and promotes overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  • Assists the sales organization with developing leads/prospects, calls on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
  • Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others by using the proper tools, and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
