About The Position

The Route Sales Representative is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering, selling, and merchandising Frito-Lay's extensive product line, which includes popular snacks such as Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, and Fritos. This position involves driving a Frito-Lay truck to various local stores, including gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores. The Route Sales Representative works independently to unload orders, merchandise products, and collaborate with store managers to boost sales. This role requires maintaining accurate records throughout the day and ensuring that products are well-displayed and available for customers. As a Route Sales Representative, you can expect to undergo four to six weeks of dedicated training focused on driving and selling, guided by experienced team members. This training will help you learn the essentials of the role and prepare you for running routes, experiencing different stores, and meeting new customers. You will be responsible for growing sales on your route by building relationships with store personnel, selling in displays, and executing national initiatives. The position offers a structured schedule with set days off, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.
