About The Position
As a Route Sales Representative at Franz Family Bakery, you will play a crucial role in the distribution of our high-quality baked products across various retail and institutional customers. Founded in 1906, Franz Family Bakery has established itself as one of the most successful bakeries in the country, employing over 4,000 individuals and distributing products throughout the Pacific Northwest. This position is not just about delivering products; it’s about building relationships with customers and ensuring they have the best bakery items available. You will be responsible for loading your delivery truck with a variety of bakery products at a regional loading depot and delivering them to our customers in a timely and courteous manner. Your role will also involve retrieving outdated products and ensuring that customer shelves are adequately stocked and properly faced. In this fast-paced environment, you will be expected to meet or exceed budgeted objectives while adhering to all safety and company guidelines. The position requires the proper use of handheld devices for tracking deliveries and inventory, as well as conducting pre-trip evaluations of your vehicle to ensure safety. You will operate and maintain your delivery vehicle according to the Smith Driving System and Fleet Safety Policy, ensuring that all deliveries are made in accordance with Safe Work Methods. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service that our customers expect from Franz Family Bakery.
