About The Position

Lift Off Distribution is the local Red Bull Energy Drink distributor for Maryland, Washington DC, and northern and eastern Virginia. We work daily to ensure that we are executing the highest level of service that is deserving of our brand. Red Bull is a world-class brand, available in more than 171 countries, and we are proud to represent it. The Route Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products. You will be responsible for managing a designated route, handling transportation of vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service. Your ability to navigate routes effectively and handle various delivery tasks will be key to our company’s success.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a delivery or driving role preferred but not required.
Excellent navigation and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
Must possess a driver’s license with a solid driving history.
Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
Satisfactory Criminal Background check.
Must possess a valid drivers' license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record check.

Responsibilities

Transport product to and from designated locations according to an assigned route.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Handle delivery paperwork and obtain necessary signatures.
Plan and optimize routes for efficiency, considering factors such as traffic and delivery windows.
Use GPS and mapping tools to navigate and adjust routes as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with clients.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on the delivery vehicle to ensure it remains in good working condition.
Document any vehicle issues or repairs needed during the pre/post check.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of goods and use of personal protective equipment.
Follow company policies and industry regulations related to deliveries and transportation.
All other duties assigned.
