A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A ROUTE DRIVER As a route driver, you play a key role in fulfilling the needs of customers in our Vendor Managed Inventory program. You load your van/truck with orders picked by the warehouse for your route. Using your keen eye for detail, you ensure that you have everything needed to complete your daily route. You arrive at customer locations with a positive attitude. You deliver appropriate products to customer locations. You replenish bins and scan appropriate bins to create new sales orders to be delivered on the next route to that location. You communicate with the customer to ensure product levels exceed your customers' expectations. You find great satisfaction in working independently and focusing on customer service, which is why you are perfect for this position!

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience delivery/route driving and customer service
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to safely climb step ladders while carrying heavy products
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and possess the willingness to learn
Positive attitude
Work well independently
Detail-oriented
