Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Home Nightly) Start Time: 5:00am Work Hours: 10 - 11 hours per day A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A ROUTE DRIVER As a Route Driver, you are responsible for collecting and transporting our raw materials from our broad customer base back to our facilities and transfer stations. Our customer range in size from small scale butchers, grocers and restaurants up to large scale slaughterhouses and food processors. Each day you will be given a route of customers to visit. Once you're pre-trip inspection is complete you'll head out and run the route. At the end of the route you will return to the yard and scale your truck. Once parked, you'll complete your post trip inspection and you're done for the day! You would operate routes in your local area and be home every night . There is also regular overtime available. You work in a safe and timely manner. As a get-it-done person who likes to be active, you take pride in a job well done!

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CDL A with Tanker Endorsements and good driving record.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull or lift up to 100 lbs.
  • You need to be dependable and reliable.
  • You need to work well with others in a team environment.
  • You need to be attentive to safety.
  • You need to be a self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 6 months of prior experience operating a commercial vehicle in route delivery setting.
  • Prior route experience within a customer oriented environment.
  • Experience with truck hydraulics.
