ROUTE DRIVER
About The Position
S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Route Driver to the Knoxville Wholesale team! Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Delivering tires to customers - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks Pulling and loading tires Use of a handheld device to write up inventory Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed, when necessary What We Offer: Compensation starting at $18/hr, based on experience Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime Monday to Friday with 6:30 am start time until route is complete. Usually 10 hour shifts. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age
- Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
- Valid driver's license - in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Forklift license is a plus
