About The Position

Specific Job Responsibilities: • Safely load, deliver and unload cylinders containing compressed gases and hard goods orders; return empty cylinders to branch or plant for refilling. • Perform all required pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations. • Complete all FDA/DOT required documentation. • Track delivery and pick-up of cylinders at customer sites using handheld device and complete all the required information/steps during the delivery and pick-up processes. • Keep truck clean and in line with DOT standards. • Communicate with supervisor on truck maintenance, customer-related issues, and delivery efficiencies. • Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers. • Identify and monitor customers’ needs and work with them to maintain proper hard goods and cylinder levels to minimize or eliminate emergency deliveries. • Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment. • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed. Qualifications: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). • One (1) year driving experience. • CDL A or B with Hazmat Endorsement. • Clean MVR driving record. • Employee must be able to lift 65 lbs. • Employee must meet all physical qualification standards imposed by the DOT. • Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on concrete for an extended period of time; bend; use hands and arms; and handle cylinders regularly weighing 150 pounds up to a maximum of 600 pounds. • Flexibility to work overtime as required. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One (1) year driving experience.
  • CDL A or B with Hazmat Endorsement.
  • Clean MVR driving record.
  • Employee must be able to lift 65 lbs.
  • Employee must meet all physical qualification standards imposed by the DOT.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
