A Route Driver is responsible for operation of a truck to collect fabrication material from meat processors, slaughter facilities and grocery stores, and used cooking oil from restaurants to our location in Kansas City, KS. Must be able to handle outside elements year round Collects and inspects products at time of pick up for any foreign material at customer location. Required to maintain an Electronic DOT log. Responsible and operates vehicle in accordance with Company, federal, state and local regulations. Conducts pre and post trip vehicle inspections; observes company policy, procedures and safety rules. Maintains excellent customer relations by providing quality, professional service at all times. Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies on a daily basis. Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee. All other duties as assigned by management
