About The Position

The position involves operating a company truck to pick up and deliver hospital linen at multiple medical facilities. The role requires loading and unloading laundry carts, establishing professional relationships with customers, and providing quality customer service. The employee must represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles is essential, including conducting pre and post route inspections, maintaining DOT compliance, and following hours of service rules. Standard vehicle operating procedures must be adhered to.

Requirements

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day.
• Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels).
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling.
• Valid Class A driver's license.
• Must have a clean driving record per company policy.
• Have six months to one-year experience.
• Be available to drive nights and weekends.
• Ability to speak and read the English language.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day.
• Be able to use repetitive arm motions.

• Deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
• Work past the schedule as production/delivery issues may arise.
• Maintain required daily and weekly paperwork.
• Perform daily visual inspections of the equipment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
