About The Position

The purpose of this position is to provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. The job involves operating a company truck to pick up and deliver hospital linen at multiple medical facilities. Responsibilities include loading and unloading laundry carts, establishing professional relationships with customers, and ensuring quality customer service. The employee will represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles is essential, including pre and post route inspections, maintaining DOT compliance, and following hours of service rules. Standard vehicle operating procedures must be adhered to.

Requirements

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day
• Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
• Valid Class A driver’s license
• Must have clean driving record per company policy
• Have six months to one-year experience
• Be available to drive nights and weekends
• Ability to speak and read the English language
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day
• Be able to use repetitive arm motions

• Perform a daily visual inspection of the equipment
• Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
• Cross-train on other routes per department needs
• Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed
