About The Position

The Route Coordinator is responsible for managing the duties related to the routing and dispatching of trucks, both inbound and outbound. Requirements

• Experience within dispatching, transportation coordination, or related administrative roles.
• Proficient in using computer programs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a fleet management or dispatching program, such as Samsara, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize daily truck routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Dispatch drivers and communicate route assignments clearly and efficiently.
• Monitor vehicle locations and schedules using GPS or routing software.
• Coordinate with operations and fleet maintenance teams to ensure trucks are ready for dispatch.
• Handle inquiries regarding delivery times, pickups, and route changes.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed to meet operational demands.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, driver logs, and delivery confirmations.
