About The Position

Route and Delivery Driver TOMRA North America, a top International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company, is recruiting for a Route and Delivery Driver Monday to Friday 5am to 1:30pm This is a union‑represented position $31.55 / HR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Transport parts and product to and from customers and field service employees Follow company policies regarding receiving and distributing parts in order to maintain inventory accuracy Reconcile inventory levels of Parts Shed’s where applicable. Ensure the truck is inspected and safe before transporting onto public and private roadways Provide minor truck preventive maintenance Comply with daily driver paperwork and reporting per DOT and company requirements Maintain current CDL Drivers License (A or B), Medical Exam Certificate and meets all DOT and TOMRA requirements for position Adhere to all posted regulations while in a plant-processing environment when not driving Provide superior service as a representative of TOMRA to both internal and external customers. Assist in cleaning and maintaining trucks, trailers, and yard Must participate in all safety meetings and training Assist with day-to-day warehouse tasks, which include but are not limited to; cleaning, organizing, and inventory part transfers Provide regular verbal and written reports to management regarding inventory concerns, shop facility and Tomra equipment and any other pertinent issues relating to the operation of the Shelton, CT location.

Requirements

  • Must have a Class A or B Drivers License
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 LBS.

Responsibilities

  • Transport parts and product to and from customers and field service employees
