We are actively seeking a Roughneck at Continental Drilling & Service located in Shreveport, Louisiana that would be responsible for assisting drilling crew members with day-to-day operations on the drilling rig, as well as working at the yard to ensure everything is clean and organized. Job duties are as described below:

Requirements

Basic understanding of water well drilling
Great organizational skills
Mechanical troubleshooting skills
Excellent and clear communication to safely and efficiently complete job tasks

Responsibilities

Perform manual labor and operate equipment on job sites and Continental’s yard as directed by supervisor
Assist driller with drilling rig operations including general maintenance, tripping pipe, and running casing
Mix drilling mud as instructed on drill sites
Constantly communicate with supervision on issues, changes, and specific needs for executing assigned tasks
Ensure compliance of company policies and standards are always followed
Ensure facility and work is executed to the highest standard and is done safely and compliantly
