About The Position

The Rough Rice Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining rough rice cleaning equipment at the Riceland Foods Parboil Plant in Stuttgart, AR. This role involves ensuring product quality, performing equipment maintenance, and maintaining a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols. The position requires working in a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends, with additional compensation for certain hours worked.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to add and subtract 3-digit numbers and calculate percentages.
• Ability to understand written instructions and print legibly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set rough rice cleaning equipment, conveyors, and scales.
• Measure product levels in storage bins and manage gates under and above bins.
• Inspect product for quality factors and perform equipment maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Climb ladders and stairs, and work at heights of over 30 feet.
• Lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.
