About The Position

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the manufacturing industry? Do you like staying busy and want to skip the gym? Look no further! We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as Rough Grinder I. In this role, you will be responsible for general production labor job involving rough grinding work. Requires hand eye coordination and the ability to follow basic written instructions and simple diagrams. With readily available supervision, use rotary or belt sanding tools to rough grind castings, remove burrs, or finish weld seams. Work may include inspection of parts for voids in welds or casting. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, then we want to hear from you!

Requirements

Team player mentality with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Strong math skills and ability to read measurements using a tape measure.
Basic understanding of computers and proficiency in basic computer skills.
Previous experience in manufacturing/production.

Follow written instructions and drawings to ensure proper assembly and quality standards.
Package and label products efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Utilize your exceptional attention to detail to identify and apply the correct assembly parts.
Perform computer transactions to track product progress and inventory levels.
Keep up with company work schedule expectations and the physical demands of the job.
