AMA provides technical support to the U.S. Army’s Technology Development Directorate (TDD) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. This work supports the development, application, and advancement of high-fidelity modeling and simulation tools used in Army rotorcraft acquisition programs, including Future Vertical Lift (FVL) . Advanced modeling and analysis tools such as RCAS and CREATE-AV Helios are used to perform detailed rotorcraft dynamic, aeroelastic, and multidisciplinary analyses. These efforts support the assessment of vehicle performance, loads, stability, control, and aeroelastic behavior, and play a critical role in reducing technical risk and informing Army rotorcraft design and acquisition decisions. About the Project: The Rotorcraft Dynamics and Comprehensive Analysis Engineer will support Army rotorcraft engineering efforts through the application, development, and validation of comprehensive rotorcraft analysis and dynamic simulation tools . The position focuses on rotorcraft dynamics, aeroelasticity, and coupled aerodynamic–structural behavior . This role complements high-fidelity CFD-based modeling by providing system-level insight into rotorcraft behavior and by supporting multidisciplinary trade studies and design assessments. Work location will be at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Pay for this position is approximately $108,000 - $118,000 per year , commensurate with experience, and includes a competitive benefits package.
