The Rotational Engineer role is designed to give aspiring engineers the opportunity, exposure, and training necessary to launch their engineering career by providing a broad set of experiences working in a variety of roles in Medical Device manufacturing. This role is equipped with a training program that will build both your technical and business acumen in the context of a growing medical device technology organization. This 18-month program will consist of rotations through our operations engineering (quality, manufacturing, process development, etc.) and direct labor teams where you’ll learn what it means to be an engineer or assembler in these positions while developing meaningful relationships and contributing to the success of the company. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or scientific discipline preferred
  • Manufacturing or product development engineering internship experience
  • Ability to author and edit technical documents.
  • Strong interpersonal communication.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently but also function as a team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with computers and the MS Suite.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain product documentation such as the bill of materials, assembly and test procedures, part drawings, and engineering change orders. This may be performed in collaboration with the project team (development engineers, operations engineers, customers, etc.).
  • Address quality documentation needs for the product line and work to address any issues or concerns.
  • Apply Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify & implement safety, quality, service, and cost improvements.
  • Support production lines to ensure they have the equipment, processes, and training necessary to manufacture high quality and complex electromechanical devices.
  • Investigate and disposition incoming material nonconformances.
  • Test, troubleshoot, assemble, and rework complex electromechanical devices.
  • Work with surface mount and through-hole printed circuit boards.
  • Fulfill material requests from the warehouse to the manufacturing floor.
  • Inspect incoming materials to confirm part/documentation compliance.
  • Assist with other related technical or administrative tasks as requested.
