Rotational Engineer

Elliott GroupJeannette, PA
31d

About The Position

The Rotational Engineering program is designed to introduce new engineering talent into the organization through a comprehensive two-year development program spanning three of Ebara Elliott Energy's largest business units. Participating engineers complete three rotational assignments, each approximately seven months in length covering a variety of engineering career paths including projects, applications, manufacturing operations, process innovation, and technical/field service. The majority of assignments will be at the corporate headquarters in Jeannette, PA, although one of the rotations will be a field assignment or service shop such as the Houston, TX area. Travel accommodations provided during the rotation. Upon completion of the program, incumbents are placed into positions within the organization where they can best apply their skills and experiences. Final placement could be in our Jeannette headquarters, a field or service shop facility or any of our operations around the globe. We do our best to match rotational engineer interest with available positions. The Rotational Engineering program is an introduction to the rotating equipment industry and is designed to provide new engineering graduates with a comprehensive on-boarding and training experience. Participating engineers will acquire an understanding of the Ebara Elliott Energy organization, our product lines and the various engineering processes from application to design to manufacturing and aftermarket service. Participating engineers perform engineering assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and experience. Projects will vary by assignment, but will require the application of engineering theory, standard techniques, procedures and criteria consistent with entry-level engineers. In addition to the formal management structure, each participating engineer will be paired with a Buddy, an engineer who completed EEE's Rotational Engineering Program previously and volunteered to be a guide to current program participants.
