The position involves performing new installations, minor repairs, and rebuilds of equipment, as well as preventative maintenance on all equipment. The individual must be able to respond to emergency maintenance requests and calls while maintaining an excellent safety record, housekeeping, and personal conduct. Good interpersonal skills and proficiency in the use of general hand tools and power tools are essential. The role requires a team player and self-starter who can properly plan and execute work.

  • Maintain accurate and timely work records, and complete paperwork daily.
  • General upkeep of all tools and equipment used by maintenance staff to perform work at facilities.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with all departments.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic physical/mechanical principles and craft math.
  • Participate in reliability programs, predictive maintenance programs, and Management of Change processes.
  • Understand bearings, seals, compressors, pumps, pipe configurations, shaft packing, and drive systems.
  • Interpret P&IDs, drawings, schematics, cut sheets, pump, and blower curves.
  • A strong background in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of various rotating equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and work orders in English.
  • Basic computer skills.
