About The Position

The Rotary Molder Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of the rotary molding equipment to produce high-quality wafers and cookies. This role ensures that all products meet established standards for size, shape, color, and moisture, while maintaining consistency, food safety, and production efficiency.

Requirements

  • Able to perform repetitive tasks for 8 or more hours
  • Able to work scheduled shifts
  • Demonstrate sufficient mechanical aptitude to assist maintenance in maintaining operation of equipment
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis
  • Stoop, kneel, climb or squat on a frequent basis
  • Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis
  • Possess manual dexterity a use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis
  • Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, which includes expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
  • A valid driver’s license
  • English comprehension skills
  • Basic computer literacy skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the rotary molder and wire cut system
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards for appearance, texture, color, and moisture
  • Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain proper dough feed, pressure, and alignment
  • Monitor production flow to prevent downtime, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and notify maintenance as needed
  • Accurately record production data, quality checks, and downtime information
  • Assist with cleaning, changeovers, and preventative maintenance of molding equipment
