About The Position
The Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester is the first hospice residence in Central Massachusetts, designed specifically for hospice residency. This 10-bed home provides a compassionate environment where terminally-ill individuals of all ages receive comprehensive care. The clinical staff and volunteers at Rose Monahan Hospice are dedicated to delivering medical, emotional, practical, and spiritual support to patients and their families during this challenging time. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Rose Monahan Hospice, you will play a crucial role in providing personal and emotional care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. You will work under the supervision of the hospice nurse and collaborate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring their comfort levels, and providing companionship and support to both patients and their families. This position is vital in ensuring that patients receive dignified and respectful care in their final days. The role requires a commitment to compassionate care and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will be expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that the needs of the patients are met holistically.
