About The Position
As a Root Cause Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing the underlying causes of operational issues within the organization. Utilizing the PPI Business System and various process improvement methodologies, you will conduct thorough Root Cause Analyses (RCA) to drive sustainable Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). Your work will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations and support staff, to ensure that all investigations are comprehensive and timely. You will be expected to apply various RCA techniques such as 5-Whys, Fishbone/6M, TapRoot, and Kepnor-Tregoe to facilitate effective problem-solving and process improvement. In this position, you will act as the primary support for major investigations that arise from Production, Quality Control, and Facilities. Your responsibilities will include leading cross-functional teams to evaluate causal factors, providing detailed written investigations, and ensuring that CAPAs effectively address the true root causes of issues. You will also monitor the efficiency of implemented CAPAs to prevent recurrence of problems. The role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the business, and you will be expected to work independently while also collaborating with colleagues and site leadership to achieve results and improve processes. Your technical expertise will be essential in interpreting data and results, responding to customer requests for information (RFIs), and supporting internal audits. Additionally, you will be responsible for document review and approval for all operations-related functions, ensuring that operational metrics are met, particularly in relation to deviation closures. This position is a salaried role with typical working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
