Responsibilities

• Responsible for blocking, groups. Pass on group information to Front Desk.
• Ensure all special requests from transient guest are blocked and noted on accounts
• Ensure that all Marriott Reward Elite Program members, VIP’s and repeat guest are identified, recognized and pre-blocked. Work directly with Guest Relations Manager when blocking VIP rooms
• Become familiar with top 50 guests, important special corporate accounts, and frequent guests to deliver room type request.
• Keep track of front office supplies inventory, ordering, completing purchase orders and monitoring expenses.
• Maintain declining balances on other expenses for room areas.
• Monitor payroll reports to ensure accuracy (missing punches, PTO, Overtime Authorization etc.)
• Attend all departmental meetings.
• Actively oversee Drake Beils upselling program, by analyzing daily and weekly arrivals, and prepare information to be shared with front office
• Walk the assigned rooms for VIPs, X4, P6, and X1
• Monitor room changes
• Verify wait status list and communicate with housekeeping regarding room status.
• Control and supervise rooms under maintenance codes and verify with corresponding departments statuses.
• Assisting agents and GXP coordinators as needed.
