Requirements

  • Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 8AM-4:30PM
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of pride in your work, with the ability to perform physically demanding housekeeping tasks such as bending, lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
  • Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently while maintaining effective communication and the ability to work well with a diverse team.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability in completing a wide range of duties as assigned, supporting smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while remaining alert and safety‑conscious in all work areas.
  • Bring 3–5 years of prior experience as a Rooms Attendant or Houseperson in a resort environment, reflecting solid industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Meet physical and safety requirements, including regularly lifting up to 25 lbs and maintaining a clean driving record with no moving violations in the past three years.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all guest rooms consistently meet Canyon Ranch’s elevated standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation.
  • Supervise, train, and coach Room Attendants to maintain high productivity and quality levels, providing performance feedback and supporting ongoing development.
  • Inspect guest rooms thoroughly, reporting maintenance concerns immediately and following up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate room availability to the Front Desk promptly through phone, radio, or computer systems to support smooth operational flow.
  • Assist with operations as needed, including cleaning rooms and replacing items such as shower curtains, comforters, lamp shades, and ironing board covers.
  • Manage daily communication by checking and responding to voicemail and email, while tracking guest special requests to ensure accurate follow‑through.
