Aloft Sunnyvale is currently looking for a Rooms Inspector (Saturdays & Sundays) to join our team. As a Rooms Inspector you will inspect hotel guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobby. Responsibilities include but not limited to training, planning, assigning, and directing staff as well as addressing and resolving guest complaints.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; min of 2 yrs. experience in a hotel environment.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping.
  • Hotel housekeeping experience and rooms inspector experience preferred
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strategic Planning
  • Cleaning Experience
  • Data Entry skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be flexible with schedule, weekdays/weekends/holidays
  • Must be able to work as Room Inspector two days a week and as Room Attendant 3 days a week

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel housekeeping experience and rooms inspector experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of all guest rooms, public areas, and bathrooms.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication to effectively provide customer support.
  • Monitor and act on special requests as needed, VIPs, special needs rooms, etc.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
