About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Resort Maintenance Technician to help keep our property operating at the highest standards. You’ll be part of a skilled facilities team responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public spaces, and essential resort systems. Your work will directly support operations, housekeeping, and front-line teams, ensuring everything runs safely, smoothly, and professionally. You’ll work in a diverse, multicultural environment where teamwork, mutual respect, and communication are essential.
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ year in maintenance, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of routine repairs, maintenance procedures, and building systems
- Safety: Understanding of OSHA standards and safe work practices
- Professional Traits: Self-motivated, dependable, solutions-focused, and detail-oriented
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment with strong communication and respect for others
- Location Requirement: Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island year-round
