POSITION SUMMARY: To ensure all guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures in accordance with Big Cedar Standards. Answer phones when needed, take food orders, prepare trays for delivery, deliver and collect trays. Handle payment transactions and assist with opening and closing procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Take Room Service orders over phone when needed in a professional manner ensuring all information is correct in accordance with the Room Service Menu. Assist with room service order setup to ensure every order is to specified standard with keen attention to detail. Smile and greet all guests in a pleasant manner while properly setting the table for guests when delivering trays as well as when picking up room service trays. Perform opening and close of shift accounting procedures by receiving daily cash outs from the servers and process with the proper payment method. Have full knowledge of Point of Sale system. Responsible for the care of the vehicle used for deliveries: check-out/in, fuel, and operate numerous vehicles safely. Follow liquor liability law. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
