ROOM SERVICE SERVER The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for an Room Service Server who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Room Service Server have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

Requirements

Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
Ability to communicate professional and accurately
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems.
Strong Customer Service skills
Minimum 1 year of food service or customer service-related work
Weekend & Holiday Availability Required

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the coordinator or guest’s original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods. Highlighting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations.
Delivery of Daily Amenities to guest rooms and ensuring Amenities are placed in the room prior to the arrival of guests
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
