  • Answer telephone calls using courteous and efficient etiquette to process guest orders.
  • Describe food and beverage menu items to guests with vivid and interesting details.
  • Communicate guest orders to the kitchen using the hotel's point-of-sales system.
  • Check completed kitchen orders against the original guest order for accuracy.
  • Coordinate delivery of items to guest rooms by Room Service Servers in a timely manner.
  • Close guest checks accurately and record guest charges and gratuities.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Coordinate amenity deliveries ensuring all requests are fulfilled accurately and promptly.
  • Assume responsibility of the department in the absence of a manager.
  • Knowledge of MICROS point-of-sale system preferred.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Food & Beverage and customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in the absence of a manager.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to multitask and solve problems independently.
  • TIPS and ServSafe certifications required.
  • Work authorization in the United States.
