As Room Service Coordinator, you would be responsible for coordinating and implementing department activities and projects in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Collecting all tickets for incoming orders and assigning each one to a server according to the rotation schedule provided by the sign-in sheet Logging & assigning all orders and amenities on the trip sheet while noting: where the order is going & who it is for, who is taking it, and when they left with the order. Also adding any special notes about the delivery. Responding to guest complaints in a positive manner, negotiating compromises, and implementing solution. Promptly answering Room Service calls, promoting QR code ordering, announcing menu items, and answering questions regarding preparation methods & options. Calling guests to clarify special requests or substitutions with On-Demand orders, providing clear, accurate and positive options when available. Processing payment for orders upon return of the IRD Server. Complying with accounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, check total verification, and tip disbursement.
