This position works both lunch and supper meal periods. Begins shift in the Caf# then moves to cooking and preparing#room service meals for patients and special functions/catering at a Destination #10# level. Must function as part of a team that ensures delivery of food to patients within 45 minutes of the order being placed.# Responsibilities: Job duties include preparation of food items, maintenance of adequate PAR levels; cooking room service items for chef select menu and cook-to-order#for room service.#Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary working environment.#Attention to detail is essential.#Multitasking is required.#This position#ensures that all hot#meals#are correct as ordered and rotates#to add the cold sides as necessary.#Performs#prep work, ensuring all items are available#for each meal service.#May deliver room service meals to our patients, assist in our retail cafe providing short-order cooking and service to our staff, as well as assist with catering services.
