Responsibilities

• Process all payment methods according to accounting procedures and policies.
• Comply with audit standards for hotel control and cash handling procedures.
• Obtain assigned cash drawer and ensure accuracy of cash received.
• Count cash at the end of the shift and complete designated cashier reports.
• Transport cash to and from the assigned work terminal.
• Set up and organize the cashier's work terminal with supplies and materials.
• Complete opening tasks to ensure everything is functioning properly.
• Adhere to all company security and safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
• Input and locate job-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less.
