Banner Staffing Services (BSS) offers Registry/Per Diem opportunities within Banner Health. Registry/Per Diem positions are utilized as needed within our facilities. These positions are great way to start your career or supplement it with Banner Health. As a BSS team member, you are eligible to apply (at any time) as an internal applicant to any core (FTE) opportunities within Banner Health. As a Room Service Attendant you will be a part of a cohesive team that strives to achieve premier patient food services. You will support patient meal service which may include setting up tray work stations, preparing/portioning assigned foods according to correct quantities, and/or assembling patient trays. You may help with providing patient menus and meal requests, and collaborate together with Nutrition Techs and Dietetic Technicians. You may also provide patients with their meal trays, helping them open their food and beverage, and providing excellent customer service. Available shift is 12:30PM - 9PM and must be available to work weekdays and weekends. We are looking for someone who is available to work full time hours as needed. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides patients with menu and/or patient meal service, receives and forwards patient requests and communication to Dietetic Technicians and Dietitians when appropriate. Provides patient meal assembly according to correct quantities. This position strives to provide patient satisfaction regarding food and nutrition services.
