About The Position

The Room Service Ambassador instructs patients on the Room Service meal ordering system, assesses patients ability to utilize the Room Service System, and assists patients in placing orders, as needed. This role briefly reviews diet basics related to the personalized menu the patient receives and is in constant communication with call center representatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, preferred.
  • Valid Oklahoma Food Handler's permit.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry or hospital dietary office setting, preferred.
  • Must have previous hospitality experience or prior experience in a hospital diet office setting.
  • Must possess reasoning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Have strong oral and written skills, the ability to work well with others, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Presents SFHS Room Service Program to patients.
  • Delivers and retrieves room service trays.
  • Completes appropriate Room Service reports.
  • Conducts patient intake studies as necessary.
  • Resolves issues that may affect the delivery of patient meals.
  • Acts as a liaison between patient and other departments as it relates to room service.
