About The Position

The Room Runner Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of delivery robots and the Room Runner system utilized throughout the resort. This position ensures that all delivery robots and related systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to support guest services and hotel operations. The Technician is also responsible for inventory control, ordering and stocking supplies, maintaining established par levels, and supporting operational efficiency.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Technical, mechanical, robotics, IT, or maintenance experience preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with software-driven systems and equipment.
Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality or hotel operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor the daily operational status of all delivery robots.
Diagnose mechanical, technical, or system-related issues when robots are not functioning properly.
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, resets, updates, and adjustments as required.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system issues.
Coordinate with vendors or internal IT/technical staff for advanced repair or system support when necessary.
Maintain and oversee the Room Runner system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Order, receive, stock, and organize supplies and parts related to the Room Runner system.
Establish and maintain approved par levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Safely lift, handle, and transport boxes, equipment, and supplies that may be heavy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Adhere to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
