About The Position

Axiom Hotel in San Francisco is looking for a friendly, detail oriented and hardworking Front Desk Agent to join our team! For some, traveling is fun and sometimes for business; however, many travelers miss being home. Our Housekeeping team makes our hotels feel like home. As a Room Attendant, you help create guest experiences that are enjoyable and comfortable. As a Room Attendant, you'll be doing a lot of things around here (boredom won't be an issue).

Requirements

We're looking for someone with at least one month of related experience.
You must have a passion for customer service and be able to work with others seamlessly.
This means you have no problem collaborating within a diverse team dynamic and working calmly under pressure.
This job is high energy and anything but dull!
Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy loads. Requires lifting bundles of linen weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to push or pull a vacuum and wheeled carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
This position is non-exempt and will require standing and moving at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
Restock all guest room supplies, like soap, shampoo, and coffee.
Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
