The cleanliness of our hotel is one of the main reasons guests return and recommend us to others. Our Room Attendants play a vital role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and memorable stay for every guest. This position is an important part of the housekeeping team and helps ensure guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards each day. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy being part of a team. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, guest-focused, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role is often considered the heart of the house. A strong Room Attendant can make the difference between an average stay and an exceptional one. For team members who perform well and show leadership potential, there may be future opportunities for growth into supervisory and management roles within Housekeeping.

  • Must be able to provide friendly and professional service to guests and team members
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds regularly and more with assistance as needed
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day
  • Must be able to move housekeeping carts, supplies, linens, and equipment safely
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required
  • Basic English communication skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms and designated areas in accordance with hotel and brand standards
  • Ensure guest rooms are properly cleaned, sanitized, stocked, and ready for arrival
  • Complete check-out rooms within 30 minutes and refresh service within 15 minutes in accordance with Marriott standards
  • Clean up to a 15-room board within an 8-hour shift
  • Change, inspect, and replenish linens, towels, and guest room amenities daily
  • Keep housekeeping carts clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Properly use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and suspicious activity promptly
  • Follow all safety procedures and hotel policies
  • Respect guest privacy and handle guest belongings with care
  • Work cooperatively with team members and other hotel departments to support overall hotel cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and respond courteously to guest requests
  • Report to work on time and follow the posted schedule and room assignment procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Floor Supervisor or Housekeeping leadership team
