Room Attendant - Full Time
About The Position
Q Center is seeking a full-time Room Attendant to join our team! Job Summary The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests. The schedule for this position is 8am-4:30pm, varying days of the week and weekend. Starting rate for this position is $18.00/hour. The Q Center: With 150,000 square feet of versatile, IACC-certified meeting space and 95 acers of beautiful recreational grounds, Q Center provides a production and idyllic setting for groups to engage their creative spirit and maximize their potential. Add to that an accomplished meeting and events staff, expert in-house event production and technical teams, on-site professional printing services, renowned banquet capabilities and you’ve got one amazing meetings and events venue that’s at the head of its class. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms
- Providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
- Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests and fellow employees.
