About The Position
The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Beachwood is seeking Room Attendants to join their Housekeeping Team. This hotel is part of Buffalo Lodging Associates, an award-winning hotel management company founded in 1996, which owns and manages 50 hotel properties. Buffalo Lodging Associates partners with respected hotel brands such as Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Choice Hotel International. A Room Attendant's primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- An engaging personality.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
- Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
- Shift hours are as follows: 8-9am to finish - approximately 8 hours - flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
