The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. Hotel Website, Instagram, Facebook What you will have an opportunity to do: Room Attendants are responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned rooms / suites, and report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain rooms / suites in compliance with standards.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent, preferred
- Prior general labor experience, required
Nice To Haves
- Prior housekeeping experience, preferred
- Prior luxury hotel / resort experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms / suites as assigned, which includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and washing windows / tracks.
- Report rooms as clean and available.
- Report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with hotel standards.
- Strip dirty linens / towels and remove used amenities from room/suite.
- Check maid cart for supplies, stock as needed.
- Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement.
- Replenish linen and guest amenities.
- Clean balconies, if applicable.
- Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service time requests).
