The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to ensure they meet established standards. This role involves greeting guests warmly, cleaning guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame, changing bed linens, replacing towels and other amenities, and cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures. The Room Attendant will also notify managers of any necessary repairs in guest rooms, process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy, and practice safe work habits while following MSDS and OSHA standards. Additionally, the Room Attendant may perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short-staffed or during peak periods, and is expected to be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work towards increasing overall guest satisfaction.
