As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to ensure they meet established standards. Your role will involve greeting guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, cleaning guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame, and performing various cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. You will also change bed linens, replace towels and other amenities, and clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Additionally, you will notify managers of any necessary repairs in guest rooms, process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy, and practice safe work habits by following MSDS and OSHA standards. During peak periods or when short-staffed, you may also perform house person and lobby attendant duties. Your focus will be on ensuring overall guest satisfaction and working towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
