About The Position

As a Room Attendant, you'll ensure that our rooms and suites are always 'fresh and welcoming' for our guests after a busy day at work. Your role is to create a haven for them to escape and relax in, or to get a bit of last-minute work done. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards in room cleanliness and presentation, while also providing excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements

• Physical fitness to be on feet most of the day.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and push/pull heavy objects.
• Capability to bend and kneel for various tasks.
• Basic literacy skills including reading, writing, and basic math.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms are always at their best and memorable for guests.
• Assist guests with requests such as toiletries or directions.
• Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and report any repairs needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when necessary.
• Organize and manage supplies and amenities, minimizing waste.
• Log and reunite lost items with their owners.
• Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the uniform with pride.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste in housekeeping areas.
• Report and log all lost and found items according to procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with other departments to ensure quality service.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• May have turndown duties and assist with other assigned tasks.
