The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of cleanliness in our guestrooms. This includes cleaning guestrooms to include dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, and replenishing rooms with supplies. The role requires taking initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest, maintaining proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment, accurately reporting room status reports throughout the duration of your shift, and taking ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings while ensuring exceptional service. The Room Attendant must work effectively and contribute positively to a team, keep linen closets, supply closet, and landing organized and clean, report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms/areas, and respond professionally, politely, and efficiently to requests from guests. Physical demands include using hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy, maintaining excellent grooming and uniform standards, and following all department policies.
